Orders and enquiries
We use your contact details, delivery address, order details and messages to process purchases, arrange production and delivery, handle returns and answer you. This is necessary to perform our contract or respond before a purchase. Payment providers process payment details at checkout. We retain records required by tax and accounting law and use necessary technical data to protect the shop against fraud and abuse, in our legitimate interest in keeping it secure.
Newsletter
The newsletter is being prepared; public subscriptions are not yet open. When available, signing up is optional and separate from buying. We will use your email, chosen language and subscription/confirmation record to send a weekly Journal digest and occasional collection news with your consent. You will need to confirm your email first. Every marketing email will provide an unsubscribe link; you can also contact us. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing. Any additional email tracking requiring consent will be explained before it is enabled.
Service providers and transfers
Our providers include Vercel for hosting and website statistics; Shopify and payment providers for checkout; Printify, print providers and carriers for fulfilment; and Hostinger Mail for correspondence. Hostinger Reach is being configured for the newsletter. They receive information needed for these services. Some processing may take place outside the European Economic Area. Applicable safeguards, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses, depend on the provider and destination. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.
Cookies, cart and statistics
The store-choice cookie lasts up to one year; regional suggestion and dismissal cookies last up to one day. The cart is stored in your browser until it is cleared or changed. Browser settings let you remove this storage, which may reset your cart or preferences. Vercel Web Analytics provides aggregated visit statistics without third-party tracking cookies; it processes page, referral, device and approximate location information and discards its visitor identifier after 24 hours. Checkout and embedded services have their own storage and notices.
How long we keep information
We keep order and correspondence data for the time needed to fulfil the order, handle enquiries or disputes and meet applicable legal retention periods. Newsletter data will be used until you unsubscribe or it is no longer needed for that purpose. A minimal suppression record and necessary consent evidence may be retained to respect your choice and demonstrate compliance. Retention depends on the purpose and legal obligations; contact us for details about your records.
Your rights
Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent. Write to the contact below; we may request only information necessary to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month. You may complain to the CNIL in France or your local data protection authority. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you solely by automated means.
